    Todd Ramsay, co-founder and creative director of Yeti Farm Creative recently visited my school through a virtual online meet. We got to hear about his career and how Yeti Farm was founded, as well as some industry advice and insight. We even got a virtual tour of the studio! There was a lot of wisdom to be absorbed that day, but what sticks with me the most as a quarter one student is the stuff about criticism. The nature of the animation industry demands you not only learn how to take criticism but also learn how to improve yourself with it. There was also advice on demo reels that I found really important to keep in mind for the future. From what I have picked up on in that class, the strongest demo reels are short (one minute-ish), show the strongest stuff at the beginning, and have good mix of cartoon and realistic styles displayed.

I'm really thankful that we had this opportunity to talk to Todd and I look forward to other future chats organized by the school!
